A major Tier One Defense contractor has chosen Tecmotiv to overhaul a large quantity of XTG411-2 powertrains and upgrade them to XTG411-4 configuration. The XTG411-4 upgrade represents a significant improvement in durability for the powertrain installed in the M109 Self Propelled howitzer. The delivered units will be covered with Tecmotiv’s one-year warranty. Tecmotiv will also be supplying other major M109 assemblies under this contract – Portable Instrument panels, Fan drive assemblies, and Traversing mechanism assemblies.
